CILICIA, Tarsus. Trajan Decius. AD 249-251. Æ (33mm, 21.88 g, 5h). Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Fisherman standing right, holding a long pole from which is suspended a basket over his shoulder on one end and a fish before him on the other, facing Perseus standing left, holding head of Medusa and harpa. SNG BN 1759-60 (same dies); SNG Levante –; SNG Pfälzer 1444 (same dies). Dark brown patina with traces of green and some light earthen highlights/deposits, roughness, light smoothing on obverse. Fine. Rare.
