The First Triumvirate (“United by Ambition”): the three triumvirs join hands; dated year 691 (63 BC) in exergue / Allegory of the Conquest of Gaul: Gaul offers a plate with four crowns to Caesar, seated on a podium; dated year 694 (60 BC) in exergue.
