CERAMIC POTTERY. Baluchistan. Peripheral tribes. 2,800 - 2,200 BCE. (12 cm tall x 23 cm long, x 14 cm diameter). A large oval vessel with wide open top and tapered flat foot. The piece has a long, extended spout with a small hook at the beginning of the opening before and a small, single handle at the back of the vessel. Red pottery with a heavy sandy encrustation. Some minor chipping at spout and on base.
