EGYPT, Alexandria. Trajan. AD 98-117. Æ Drachm (35mm, 22.88 g, 1h). Dated RY 16 (AD 112/3). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from the front / Dionysos, holding a thyrsos, reclining left in a biga drawn by two panthers, each looking in opposite directions; L Iϛ (date) above. Köln 601; Dattari (Savio) –; K&G 27.492; RPC III 4662.2 (this coin); Emmett 442.16 (R3). Brown patina with green deposits, flan flaws. VF. Extremely rare, only three recorded in RPC.
