Winstanley 17.2 = Lockett Collection Part II, 1665 (same rev. die); MEG p. 46; North 1681; SCBC 2159. Slight double strike in reverse legend. Toned. VF. Strong portrait. Very rare.

Groats of the very rare York mint are not well struck and this is an exceptionally fine example.
