Tiberius II Constantine. 578-582. AV Solidus (23.5mm, 4.47 g, 6h). Constantinople mint, 1st officina. Crowned and cuirassed bust facing, holding globus cruciger and shield / Cross potent set on four steps; A//CONOB. DOC 4a; MIBE 4; SB 422. Toned and lustrous, both sides rotated double struck, small edge scuff, light scratches, hairlines. Near EF. Well struck on a very broad flan.
