KORKYRA, Korkyra. Circa 270/50-229 BC. AR Drachm (17mm, 5.11 g, 7h). Two stellate patterns, each within linear square set vertically, divided by a central line, within larger linear rectangle; grape bunch on vine to upper left, ivy leaf to upper right, Σ-Ω across lower field. Fried Group V, dies 9/14; HGC 6, 41; SNG Copenhagen 171; SNG Evelpidis 1895; SNG Fitzwilliam 2643; SNG Lockett 1673 = Pozzi 1309; BMC 195 (all from the same dies). Old collection tone, minor green deposits. VF. Very rare, only eight examples listed by Fried, one additional in CoinArchives.
