CILICIA, Issos. Circa 385-375 BC. AR Twelfth Stater (8.5mm, 0.81 g, 2h). Helmeted head of Athena facing slightly left / Head of young Herakles(?) right. Cf. Brindley Group 6; cf. Casabonne Type 6; cf. SNG BN 414 (stater). Deep iridescent tone, minor doubling on reverse. Good VF. Very rare as a twelfth stater. |
