IONIA, Kolophon. Circa 330-294 BC. AR Hemidrachm (12mm, 1.68 g, 12h). Rhodian standard. Platon, magistrate. Laureate head of Apollo left, with hair loose / Kithara. Kinns –; Milne, Colophon –; cf. CNG E-466, lot 136 (for a similar issuer of the magistrate Ekataios). Lightly toned, faint cleaning scratches, slightly rusted dies. Good VF. Very rare.
