188a Geta. As Caesar, AD 198-209. AR Denarius (19mm, 4.15 g, 1h). Laodicea ad Mare mint. Struck under Septimius Severus and Caracalla, AD 198-202. L SEPTIMIVS GETA CAES, draped bust right / FELICITAS TE MPOR, Felicitas standing right, holding long caduceus and clasping hands with Geta, standing left, holding cornucopia. RIC IV 94; BMCRE 685 (Septimius Severus & Caracalla); RSC 49. Lightly toned, flan flaw. Good VF.

L SEPTIMIVS GETA CAES, draped bust right / FELICITA S T EMPOR, Felicitas standing left, holding caduceus and cornucopia. RIC IV 95; BMCRE 683-4 var. (bust type, rev. legend spacing; Septimius Severus & Caracalla); RSC 14. Lightly toned with underlying luster. Good VF.
