Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. AR Denarius (18mm, 2.28 g, 6h). Contemporary imitation. CAESAR AVGVSTVS, bare head right / Mars standing left, holding aquila and signa; SIGNIS to left, RECEPTIS to right. Cf. RIC I 41; cf. RSC 259 (for official issue). Toned, some porosity, scratches and marks under toning. VF.
