10a Caracalla. As Caesar, AD 196-198. AR Denarius (16mm, 2.81 g, 5h). Rome mint. Struck under Septimius Severus, AD 197-198. [M AVR ANTON CAES PONTIF], draped bust right / PR INCIPI IVE[NTVTIS], Caracalla standing left, holding baton and spear; trophy to right. RIC IV 13b; BMCRE 210-1 (Septimius Severus); RSC 505a. Porous, scrape. Fine.

10b Caracalla. As Caesar, AD 196-198. AR Denarius (19mm, 2.54 g, 2h). Rome mint. Struck under Septimius Severus, AD 197-198. M AVR ANTON CAES PONTIF, draped bust right / PI[E]TAS, Pietas standing facing, head left, extending hand over lighted altar and holding incense box. RIC IV 12; BMCRE 204-5 (Septimius Severus); RSC 180. Porous. Fine.

10c Caracalla. AD 198-217. AR Denarius (19mm, 3.51 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck AD 198. IMP CAE M AVR ANT AVG P TR P, laureate and draped bust right / MIN ER VICTRIX, Minerva standing left, holding Victory and spear, with shield at her side; trophy to right. RIC IV 25b; BMCRE 108; RSC 159. Good VF.

RIC IV 95; BMCRE 554 (Septimius & Caracalla); RSC 440. Light golden toning, minor edge splits. Good VF.
