This unpublished die combination pairs a reverse die known for year 2 dated issues, with an obverse from the undated year 3 series. In Mildenberg’s arrangement, this reverse die occurs at the end of the year 2 issues, while the obverse die is the first in his arrangement of the undated year 3 coinage, so it would not be surprising that this combination would be found.
