ITALY, Napoli (Regno). Carlo I di Spagna (Carlo V, Sacro Romano Impero). 1516-1554. AR Tarì (29mm, 5.92 g, 2h). Napoli (Naples) mint; Luigi Ram, maestro di zecca. Struck 1528-1546. (parsley leaf) CAROLVS IIIII RO IM, crowned and cuirassed bust right; R to left; symbol in legend; double annulet stops / AISPARVM VTR IVS SICI R R, crowned double-headed eagle facing with coat-of-arms on breast; crown above; double annulet stops. CNI XIX –; Pannuti-Riccio 19a = Fiorelli 6775; MIR 138/2. Toned. Near EF. Rare variety with the symbol after CAROLVS.
