GERMANY, Meißen (Markgrafschaft). Konrad I der Große. 1130-1156. AR Bracteate (36mm, 1.00 g). Castle with tall crenelated central tower flanked by two towers; quatrefoil to inner left, star to inner right; birds facing outward on outer towers; annulets to outer left and right / Incuse of obverse. Kestner 1881-2; Bonhoff 993; Löbbecke 505. Wonderful cabinet toning. Superb EF.
