Head of city-goddess of Utica right, wearing mural crown; uncertain object (apluster[?]) above, stalk of grain and winged caduceus flanking, rostrum below / Military trophy, composed of Spanish arms, consisting of cuirass with sword attached at the waist, helmet, bow and quiver, and round shield; lituus to left, capis to right. Crawford 460/3; CRI 42; Sydenham 1049; Caecilia 52; RBW 1603. Lightly toned with iridescence, porosity, scratches and scrape on obverse, horn silver. VF. Very rare. |
