JEWELRY. Roman. 2nd -3rd Cent. CE. (24 mm). Gold and Garnet. A pair of gold tear shaped earrings with garnets mounted in tear shaped bezels. Minor decorative wire embellishments added to bezel. Both stones are cracked internally, one showing evidence of complete break and a point of impact.
