JEWELRY. Roman. 1st – 3rd Cent. CE. (17 mm). Gold and Garnet. A child’s gold ring made from a single thin sheet of gold. An oval bezel is enclosed around a small oval garnet. Some bending from time, otherwise an outstanding example of simple rings with stones.
