Carausius. Romano-British Emperor, AD 286-293. Antoninianus (19.5mm, 3.14 g, 12h). Uncertain mint. Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right / Salus standing left, feeding serpent coiled around and rising from altar at feet to left from patera and holding scepter. RIC V 984. Brown patina, die shift on reverse. Good VF. A bold obverse strike with a wonderful portrait.
