Carausius. Romano-British Emperor, AD 286-293. Antoninianus (21mm, 4.37 g, 6h). Uncertain mint. Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Pax standing left, holding olive branch and vertical scepter; S|P//–. RIC V 475. Toned partial silvering and dark brown-green patina, slightly off center. Near EF. A striking and excellent portrait.
