Diademed heroic bust left, wearing crested helmet adorned with bull's horn and ear, and brandishing spear / Philoxenos, in military attire, on horse rearing right on ground line; monogram below. Bopearachchi 9B; cf. SNG ANS 1198; HGC 12, 270. Bright surfaces with iridescent toning, porosity/corrosion, slight delamination on reverse, areas of smoothing and tooling. Good VF. |
