Crowned facing bust within double polylobe; one jeweled and one plain arch in crown / Long cross pattée; three pellets in quarters. Rosette stops, CAn TOR over LOn DOn. P&W type III, B, obv. 5a/rev. –; cf. SCBI 23 (Ashmolean), 555-65 (for obv. type); North 1712; SCBC 2210; cf. CNG 121, lot 1320 (for same re-engraving). Toned, areas of weak strike, a few scratches.
