KINGS of PARTHIA. Phraates II. 132-127 BC. AR Tetradrachm (32mm, 16.01 g). Seleukeia on the Tigris mint. Struck circa 129-128 BC. Diademed bust right / Bearded male deity enthroned left, wearing chiton and kalathos, holding Nike and cornucopiae; two monograms in exergue. Sellwood 17.1 corr. (monograms reversed); Shore -. VF, toned, light cleaning marks, porosity.

From the Richard Winokur Collection. Ex Classical Numismatic Group 54 (14 June 2000), lot 836.

In Sellwood, the arrangement of the monograms is correct in the line-drawing of the coin, but mistakenly reversed in the line-drawing of the reverse legend and in the description of type 17.1.
