Germanicus in ornamented slow quadriga right / Germanicus advancing left, raising hand and holding legionary eagle. RIC I 57 (Caligula); BMCRE 94 (Caligula); Cohen 7. Fine, dark reddish-brown patina, rough surfaces.

Commemorates, in part, Germanicus' recovery of the legionary standards lost in the Teutoburg Forest under Varus in 9 AD.
