GORDIAN III. 238-244 AD. Æ Sestertius (31mm, 22.62 gm). Struck 243-244 AD. Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right / Felicitas standing left, holding long caduceus and cornucopiae. RIC IV 328a; Banti 27; Cohen 73. Near EF, brown green patina, slightly double struck, but nonetheless a superb portrait of the young Gordian.
