LUCIUS VERUS. 161-169 AD. Æ Sestertius (18mm, 24.69 gm). Struck 164 AD. Laureate and cuirassed bust right / Verus seated left on camp bench set on daïs, holding sheathed sword extending hand to Sohaemus standing left below, head reverted, raising hand to head; three figures stand around Verus on daïs; one holding rod. RIC III 1371 (Aurelius); MIR 18, 92-16/35; Cohen 161. Choice VF, dark green patina, several deep scratches in obverse field, minor roughness on reverse. Rare.
