DIVUS VESPASIAN. Died 79 AD. Æ Sestertius (33mm, 26.58 gm). Rome mint. Struck under Titus, 80-81 AD. Legend around large S C / Statue of Vespasian seated right on throne, holding sceptre and Victory holding palm and wreath, set on ornate car drawn by four elephants; each elephant has his own mahout. RIC II 144 (Titus); Cohen 206 (Vespasian). Fine, brown surfaces, partial flat strike.
