PHILIP I, with OTACILIA SEVERA and PHILIP II. 244-249 AD. Æ Cast Imitative Medallion (39mm, 56.52 gm). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Philip I and diademed and draped bust of Otacilia Severa right, conjoined, and laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Philip II left, vis-à-vis / Philip II and Philip I holding pateras over altar, flute-player between; two figures behind on either side, one of whom holds a palm; ornate octastyle temple in background. Cf. Gnecchi 13 and Pl. 109, 6 (same obverse die). Near VF, dark brown surfaces with some powdery green patina. An interesting and attractive modern cast of an improtant historical type, commemorating the millenial anniversary of the foundation of Rome.
