MACRIANUS. 260-261 AD. Antoninianus (22mm, 3.40 gm). Samosata? mint. Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Sol standing facing, head left, raising hand and holding globe; star in left field. Cf. RIC V 12 (Antioch); MIR 44, 1741k; cf. Cohen 12 (same). Nice VF, nearly full silvering. Rare.
