SELEUKID KINGS of SYRIA. Antiochos III. 223-187 BC. AR Tetradrachm (31mm, 16.24 gm). Uncertain Mint 74 in Western Persia. Diademed head right / Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding arrow and bow: monograms above and below in outer left field. Cf. SC 1278; cf. SNG Spaer 830. Fine.

The style of the obverse and the remains of the upper monogram designate this tetradrachm as having been struck in western Persia, yet the ambiguity of the lower monogram makes a more definite attribution difficult.
