EGYPT, Alexandria. Hadrian. AD 117-138. Æ Drachm (33mm, 22.38 g, 12h). Dated RY 19 (AD 134/135). AVT KAIC TPAIAN A∆PIANOC CЄB, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Galley left with oars; in center, Sarapis seated left, holding scepter, and Kerberos seated at his feet; to left, Isis Pharia, head right, holding billowing sail left; to right, Demeter standing left, holding long torch; above, L ЄNN[ЄAK∆] (date). Köln 1170; Dattari (Savio) 7786; K&G 32.675; RPC III 5995; Emmett 1047.19 (R5 = BMC 886). Dark brown patina with touches of red and green, some minor smoothing. Good VF. Extremely rare and popular type.
