BITHYNIA, Kalchedon. Circa 260-220 BC. AR Drachm (19mm, 4.12 g, 11h). In the name and types of Alexander III of Macedon. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; ΑΙΣ/K in left field, ΑΓ monogram below throne; grain ear with stalk in exergue. Price 946 (Callatis); Kirazli 157 (same dies). Toned, slight die shift on obverse. VF. Extremely rare, none in Pella, nor the ANS photofile, and this is the sole example in CoinArchives. The Kirazli hoard piece is the only example published.
