ACHAEA, Bura. Geta. As Caesar, AD 198-209. Æ Diassarion (22mm, 4.94 g, 1h). Struck circa AD 198-205. Bareheaded, draped, and cuirassed bust right / View of the acropolis of Bura: at the top of hill, temple shown in perspective (two columns at front, four columns on the side); below, cave of Herakles within solid arch and with a portico to right. BCD Peloponnesos 469; NCP S II (plate S) = Price & Trell 196 (fig. 2). Dark green to black patina with reddish earthen highlights/deposits. Near VF. Extremely rare.
