SELEUKIS and PIERIA, Laodikeia. 78/7-16/5 BC. AR Tetradrachm (26.5mm, 13.19 g, 12h). Dated year 17 of the Caesarian Era (32/1 BC). Veiled, draped, and turreted bust of Tyche right / Zeus Nikephoros seated left; IOYΛIEΩN TΩN KAI ΛAOΔIKEΩN to outer left and right, ZI (date) and ME to inner left; ΔI below throne, ΛY in exergue; all within wreath. Mørkholm, Autonomous –; RPC I 4380 var. (unlisted date); HGC 9, 1402 var. (same); DCA 568 (this coin cited); Prieur –. Toned, some roughness, slightly off center on obverse. VF. Extremely rare date, only this coin listed in CoinArchives, and this was the only example known to Prieur.
