Head of the nymph Larissa facing slightly left, wearing ampyx [inscribed ΓEY], earring, garment clasp on her right shoulder, and necklace; [tiny IA above head] / ΛAPIΣAI, Horse standing right, trailing rein, preparing to lie down; AI below belly. L-S group 3, head type 14, dies O31/2, a = Lorber, Early 17.2 (this coin); BCD Thessaly II 205 (same obv. die); HGC 4, 434. VF, toned, scattered surface marks. Struck from an attractive (and signed) obverse die.
