PHOENICIA, Byblus. Caracalla. AD 198-217. AR Tetradrachm (26mm, 11.84 g, 6h). Struck AD 215-217. Laureate and cuirassed bust right, with gorgoneion on breastplate / Laureate head right of Caracalla, supported by eagle standing right; altar before portrait and eagle. Prieur 1305. VF, toned, light porosity, graffito in right obverse field. Extremely rare, only two known to Prieur, and one in CoinArchives.
