Laureate head of Trajan right, set on eagle standing right; club to left / Laureate bust of Melkart-Hercules right, with lion’s skin tied around neck. Prieur 1522 (Tyre); McAlee 467 (this coin illustrated); RPC III 3562/4 (this coin cited). Good VF, toned. Very rare, only four known to Prieur, two in CoinArchives, and eight specimens cited by the authors of RPC, including this coin.
