SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Antioch. Trajan. AD 98-117. AR Tetradrachm (26mm, 14.69 g, 8h). Struck AD 109/110. Laureate head of Trajan right, set on eagle standing right; club to left / Tyche seated right on rocky outcropping, holding grain ears and poppy heads with right hand; below, half-length figure of river-god Orontes swimming right, head left. Prieur 1497 (Tyre); McAlee 469; RPC III 3537/5 (this coin cited and illustrated). Good VF, toned, minor metal flaws. Very rare, only five known to Prieur, one in CoinArchives, and nine specimens cited by the authors of RPC, including this coin.
