SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Antioch. Trajan. AD 98-117. AR Tetradrachm (27.5mm, 14.89 g, 6h). Struck AD 98-99. Laureate bust right, wearing aegis / Eagle standing facing on thunderbolt, head and tail right, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak. Prieur 1487 (Tyre; this coin); McAlee 427 (this coin illustrated); RPC III 3512/1 (this coin cited and illustrated). Good VF, toned. Extremely rare, only two known to Prieur, none in CoinArchives, and two specimens cited by the authors of RPC, including this coin.
