IMP C P LIC VALERIANVS AVG, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right / PAX AVGG, Pax standing left, holding olive branch and transverse sceptre; S C across field. MIR 36, 27g; RIC V –; Banti –. Near VF, green patina with earthen deposits, light cleaning scratches. Extremely rare, only one specimen noted by MIR (referencing Kellner, JNG 28/29 [1978/79], who records it from a Bavarian hoard).
