Persian king or hero, wearing kidaris and kandys, quiver over shoulder, in kneeling-running stance right, drawing bow / Incuse punch. Unpublished denomination in the standard references, but for type, cf. Carradice Type II. Near VF, lightly toned, granular surfaces.

One wonders whether this coin was overstruck on a third stater of Kroisos, which were struck at this weight.
