Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. AR Denarius (18.9mm, 3.86 g, 9h). Uncertain Italian mint (Brundisium or Rome?). Struck circa 29-27 BC. Victory standing right on prow, holding wreath and palm frond / Augustus standing in ornamented slow quadriga right, holding branch and reins. RIC I 264; RSC 115. VF, toned, small banker’s marks on both sides, some light scratches.
