Draped bust left; trefoil-tipped scepter before / + ÆLFGAR M–O PERHΛ, voided short cross; C R V X in angles. SCBI 50 (Hermitage), 520 (same dies); North 770; SCBC 1148. VF, deeply toned, striking perforation around part of inner circle. An unusually long mint-signature, more usually found as PER.
