Theodosius II. AD 402-450. Æ (11mm, 1.53 g, 6h). Constantinople mint. Struck AD 445-450. Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Monogram of Theodosius within wreath; [CON]. RIC X 463.5; LRBC 2246. Near EF, earthen black patina. Nice for issue.
Although the mint mark is largely off the flan, faint traces of the tops of the letters are visible and indicate it is CON, not NIC (RI X 465).
