Bronze solidus weight with silver inlay. Romano-Byzantine, 4th-5th centuries AD. (15x14mm, 4.07g). Two facing imperial busts, the heads of which are inlaid with silver / Blank. Cf. Bendall 106-8. VF, red-brown surfaces, some hard green encrustation.

A bit below the weight of the solidus standard of 4.4g. This is also the case with the majority of the solidi/nomismata weights listed in Bendall.
