Steatite scarab with bronze ring. Egypt, New Kingdom, 1550-1077 BC. A scarab with simple features, mounted to bronze ring. On face, a kneeling Horus holds two feathers of truth (ma’at); two uraei (royal cobras) above. Dimensions: scarab 19x13mm, ring 29mm in diameter. Some chips on scarab. Ring detached from scarab and with a rough green patina.
