PAPHLAGONIA, Germanicopolis. Caracalla(?). AD 198-217. Æ (18mm, 3.50 g, 6h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Eagle flying right, grasping rabbit(?) with its talons; rabbit is standing right on a rocky outcropping. Bricault & Delrieux GG/20 (D7/R19). Fine, dark green to black patina with earthen highlights/deposits. Very rare, Bricault & Delrieux cite only two examples, with one in the Hermitage, and the other in a private collection (ex Schulten [11 April 1988], lot 566. None on CoinArchives.
