PLANTAGENET. Edward III – Richard II. 1327-1399. Æ Jeton (21mm, 3.46 g). Enthroned king type. King enthroned facing beneath camopy, holding sword; floral decoration around / Cross fleurée; in each quarter, lion passant left above trefoil. Cf. Mitchiner, Jetons I 283-4 (for obv. – same die). Near VF, dark green patina, a few light scratches, some flan preparation marks and double striking on reverse, centering hole on obverse.
