A group of three glass seals. Achaemenid Period, circa 550-334 BC. 1) Green cachet with concave face. Image of a bearded king facing right, arms outstretched. To either side, a winged sphinx on hind legs. 23mm. 2) Two ibexes on standing on hind legs to either side of a tree of life. 21mm. 3) Hero standing facing, arms outstretched, holding ibex in each hand. 17mm. Some chips, but otherwise very good examples of type. Pierced for suspension. Cf. Rost 475, 480.
