New Kingdom. 18th Dynasty. Amenhotep III (circa 1386-1353). Purple glazed faience plaquette with the name of Amenhotep (16x11mm). Depicting the hieroglyphs for Ra neb maat, a name of this pharaoh, who was the ninth of the 18th Dynasty, also known as Amenophis and Nebma’atre. Glaze worn in areas. Cf. Rowe 546 for this form of the royal name.
